OK, so here is the final weight loss count after the 30 day diet plan. I lost a total of 23 pounds. I am very proud of myself for doing this and actually sticking with it for that long. I feel good and I fit into my clothes a lot better, LOL. Now the problem is keeping the weight off. I am from Italian descent so all we do is eat. This is going to be a challenge to use portion control but I know I can stick with it. The other thing I am sticking with and doing every day is drawing. I am drawing a few hours each day. Some days I am practicing and other days I am starting new pieces. The key thing is I am picking up a pencil and making the most of it. I am proud of the progress I am making. So I want to keep it going. The media I have been using more often is my Prismacolor Premier pencils. I am enjoying how these pencils work and the potential of these things are endless. Being an amateur myself I am learning new stuff with them all the time. I like the way they blend and how soft the pencils are. So hopefully I get better.
This weekend I am going to a place called the Hobby Lobby and it is not too far from my house. I am looking to pick up the Prismacolor Verithin and Watercolor pencil tins. I have two 40% off coupons. I will be going to one register with one set and my wife is going to another register with the other set as you are only allowed one coupon per customer, LOL. Here is where my feedback from you guys on dA comes into play. I am also looking into purchasing the Derwent Watercolor and Colorsoft pencil sets. My question is, Which one is better? Which one blends better? Which one is better quality? Which one is better to use as I am a newbie to them? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you if you do.
Last but not least are some of my shoutouts that I like to do here on dA. All of these artists do some great work and every single one of them has a unique style to their art. So here they are in no particular order.
Please go check out their pages. There is some great stuff to look at.
Here are two pages that I found some art supplies online. If anyone used these site please give us some feedback on them. If anyone has other sites please post them in the comments below.
Thanks for checking out my journal.
Have a good one!!
